Meet Our Team.

Caitlin Giambalvo

Caitlin Giambalvo

Co-Owner & Instructor

Caitlin was introduced to The Bar Method by her sister Bridget, and after her first class told her "it was too hard" for her. Fast forward a few years, and Caitlin quit her job in corporate America to fly to San Francisco for training to be not only an instructor but a studio owner! Caitlin is a by-the-book kind of gal, and her class choreography is presented in an organized, clean way for students to follow with ease. Her precision while correcting form is so on point that you know you‘re doing it right...and you’ll definitely feel it tomorrow! Caitlin loves themes, so you can typically expect an hour full of puns when signing up for her classes!

Bridget McBride

Bridget McBride

Co-Owner & Instructor

Bridget began teaching in 2008 in Hermosa Beach, CA and after six years her passion for the Bar Method led her back home to open the studio in Fairfield with her sister. Bridget doesn‘t believe in doing anything halfway, which shines through in every class she teaches. She likes her music loud, the choreography high-level and the exercises as hard as they come. Her secret weapon is devising playful yet challenging themes to create a buzz in the room, and you might just be asked to sing into the mic or high-five the person next to you. She loves new students and seeing their "OMG I didn’t think Bar Was This Hard" faces during thigh. Her goal for every class: give you your money’s worth, make you smile, and have leave in a better mood than when you walked in. Favorite Exercise: Diagonal Seat Hops

Stef has been teaching group fitness classes for years, and jumped at the chance to join the BMF team. This woman is so loved--her following of Bar Babes is no surprise. Her level of experience with instructing ensures her class is tough as nails. She is a secret book nerd and loves to read her Bar Method manual. It carries over to her classes--consistent, form-focused, thematic classes that will leave you sore for days. We don’t know what will make you shake more--her thigh sequence or her hilarious jokes! And if a song from the 80s happens to play during the class, get ready for a fun blast from the past story to come out...just don’t you dare come out of your plank! Favorite Exercise: Diagonal Seat
